After coming down through Estes, I took the state road through Ward, this crazy little town of broken down cars and patched together houses where Damon said people drive up to in the spring, abandon their cars, and live for the summer.
There used to be a mirror on a tree so you could see around the switchback, evidently at some point it got broken and someone got creative.
